First let’s remember, during the “low fat” craze we became the most obese people in the history of the planet.
Then, research is out again showing the benefits of whole fat vs low/no fat milk.
We’re not getting into it today, but really, it’s 2016…this entire “fat makes you fat” and “greasy burger ha-ha” has got to stop…
…like are we still wondering, too, if the earth is round, why people don’t fall off the bottom?
Worrying about whole vs skim milk, really is symptomatic of the BIGGER problems:
…like bigger than just choosing which milk.
…like, do people walk upside on the bottom of earth kind of problems.
…like, “the simplest way to put it, I have problems“ kind of problems.
And hyper-focusing on micro-issues is a way to avoid and mis-direct from bigger issues. They create “worry” and worry just worries us.
It might take some drilling down. Rather than what milk to drink
…we might be better off delving deep into the psyche,
...”what is the crisis…what is it you are truly — afraid of?”
And that’s it man, health and wellness means, first, getting the mind on right.
…straight up MFT
…confront old, outdated, and incorrect worldviews,
…embrace the discomfort.
Take on the problems that are limiting growth…after making those fixes, you’ll find that you won’t worry about “whole or skim”.
